Red Ribbon Week & Peanut Butter Drive
(Our goal is 1000 jars)
Peanut butter must be turned in by Friday, October 31st.
All of the peanut butter collected is used to help those in need in our community.
The most we have collected in any one year is 1003 jars.
We hope to top that this year.
Every program that collects 67 jars or more will receive ice cream.
The top three programs that collect the most peanut butter will win a pizza party and ice cream.
If we collect 1000 jars then the entire student body will receive a pizza party, and the top three programs will be awarded a movie and popcorn day in the auditorium.
(This will only occur if we collect 1000 jars.)
The top program will receive a plaque/trophy to be displayed in their classroom until next year.
Thank you for all of your help!
As part of its ongoing support for STEM education, AT&T recently made a $5,000 donation to ATEC for its Project Lead The Way program. ATEC will use this money for supplies and consumables for its Biomedical program that serves students from across Kershaw County.
eChalk Parent Accounts
Parents of middle & high school students can register for an eChalk Parent Account now, but you will receive a letter from the home school shortly that will include your student's District ID number. This information will allow parents to access your students' schedules and view class pages directly. (All parents must create a new account for the 2013-14 School Year.) Please go to your student's high school website to register.
Elementary school students can be added without the Student ID information.
Additional information on eChalk Parent Accounts - including a video walk-through - are available on the district website at www.kershaw.k12.sc.us/district/instruction/echalk
