Golden Apple Award Winners

Congratulations to Tammy Pugh, Honors Practical Nursing Phase I Instructor and Julie Putnam IT Coordinator/Webmaster for being chosen as ATEC's GOLDEN APPLE AWARD WINNERS for February 2010.  Two new winners will be chosen each month.  The Golden Apple award is presented to staff members who go the extra mile and complete many unnoticed tasks to make life easier for others.

School Honors

Applied Technology Education Campus (ATEC) students exceeded national career and technical education performance standards for 2009, according to results released by the S.C. Department of Education.
 
            The Kershaw County School District’s career and technical education center surpassed accountability goals in six of the measurable standards set by the federal government for all state secondary and post-secondary schools receiving federal funding for programs and services.
